Navigating your bookmarks

BookMark Pro shows one folder at a time as a responsive grid of icon buttons. Navigation is about moving between folders quickly.

The grid is your current folder’s contents: bookmarks open their URL, folders open in place. The number of columns adapts to your screen, or you can fix it yourself in Settings.

Click a folder and the grid is replaced by that folder’s contents. You can keep going deeper — folders nest to any depth.

The breadcrumb trail above the grid shows the path from the root to where you are, for example:

Home / Work / Projects

Every part of it is clickable — click any ancestor to jump straight back to it, or the first entry to return to the top level.

There’s one more way to move around: search results include a Show in folder button that navigates the grid straight to the folder containing the result.

The left sidebar holds the app’s actions:

  • New bookmark and New folder — create items in the folder you have open.
  • Import and Export — move bookmarks in and out. See Importing and Exporting.
  • Settings — grid columns, link behavior, and more.

The sidebar can be collapsed to a narrow icon strip with the toggle at its top — handy on small screens, where it otherwise overlays the grid.
