Importing bookmarks
BookMark Pro imports your entire bookmark tree — folders, nesting, and all — from the files browsers produce when you export bookmarks.

The format is detected automatically from the file you pick — you never have to say which browser it came from.
Step 1: Export from your browser
Section titled “Step 1: Export from your browser”Firefox: open the Bookmarks Library (Ctrl+Shift+O), then Import and Backup → Backup… and save the .json file.
Chrome: open the Bookmark Manager (Ctrl+Shift+O), click the ⋮ menu, and choose Export bookmarks to save an .html file.
Safari: open the menu bar and choose File → Export Bookmarks…. Recent versions save a .zip archive — just pick it, BookMark Pro extracts the bookmarks file inside automatically. Older versions save an .html file directly.
Step 2: Import into BookMark Pro
Section titled “Step 2: Import into BookMark Pro”- Click Import in the left sidebar.
- Select the file you exported.
- Choose the number of columns (1–20) to arrange the imported bookmarks into — 6 is the default, and you can always change the layout later.
- Confirm. Your bookmarks and folders appear in the grid.
The import happens entirely on your device: the file is read locally and nothing is uploaded anywhere.
After importing
Section titled “After importing”- Drag and drop to rearrange anything.
